Improving Charging Experience Consistency

Overview

Overview

To help machine operators better understand sustainable energy usage and adapt their behaviors to the electrified machines, we aim to introduce the electromobility-specific capabilities while releasing the next-generation Human Machine Interface (HMI).

* Current score is based on guerilla test since the HMI has not been released. The whole success metrics are defined as User Satisfaction, Task Success Rate and Time on Task, which we aim to validate after commercial release in 2025.

Reflections

Reflections

  1. Long development makes it challenging to collect first-hand user feedback, but advocating for it remains crucial for UX professionals.

  2. Design sometimes starts with assumptions rather than based on rich user research, but continuous learning through design activities helps to maneuver the direction.

  3. Engaging stakeholders in diverse UX activities generates more buy-in and improves understanding of UX.
